For this purpose on September 2, 2019, the members of the National Committee of Eucharistic Congress held a meeting at the headquarters of the Episcopal Conference of Rwanda (C.EP.R).

The meeting was led by His Excellency Bishop Vincent HAROLIMANA, Bishop of Ruhengeri and Delegate of the C.EP.R at the International Eucharistic Congress.
After the presentation and clarification on the mission to the committee, Mgr. Vincent gave some information about the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress to be held in Budapest (Hungary) from 13 to 20 September 2020, under the theme “All my springs are in Thee” (Ps 87, 7). “It is this international congress of Budapest, currently being prepared, which is reflected in local churches including ours”, he told them.
Having discussed the rationale and history of the Eucharistic Congresses, the members of the National Committee had rich exchanges on concrete proposals for the best organization and fruitful experience of the Diocesan Eucharistic Congresses and National Eucharistic Congress in Rwanda, scheduled for June 2020.
